Wispa Gold

Mmm, the delicious aroma of Cadbury chocolate. Rip down the glittery yellow wrapper, feeling like I might find a Golden Ticket.

Whelp, it’s a long smooth rectangle coated in chocolate.

Bite the corner, expecting caramel. Instead there looks to be aerated chocolate beneath the coated skin. Surprising since the wrapper promised caramel but I’m the biggest fan of Dairy Milk I know, so no complaints!

Nibble further and eureka! Caramel deposit running along the top. Quite thick. Mmm… it’s like a Caramello Koala in bar form but the caramel is much tamer, thicker and not as rich.

Nomnomnom.

They could do without the caramel. It’s kind of tasteless until swallowed, then it burns warm down the back of my throat.

Also this bar should be smaller. It’s a little too big. I mean, I’ll totally eat it, don’t get me wrong, but two-thirds the size would have been appreciated.

But ultimately it’s yet another way to enjoy good old Cadbury Dairy Milk!
