Subway’s Multigrain Bread

Two laps of the Sydney International Terminal’s foodcourt done and why are things so expensive? I know why, but it’s so annoying! I would eat the lovely looking salads or pastas but why must they cost nearly $10 for a small serving? And sushi is not only overpriced but looks much more wilted than it ought.

So for the only fast food chain I frequent: Subway. Mmm veggie patty, so much solid protein goodness.

What bread… oh, they have multigrain now! Done!

And everything else as usual… warm veggie patty, no cheese, lettuce, tomato, carrot, olives and sweet onion sauce.

Why do they always wrap them so much? It’s like playing pass-the-parcel with food.

Out it comes… and it’s not dripping like normal. Odd, there’s usually sauce oozing, making it all so luscious.

Take a bite. It is dry. It is drydrydry. And I think it’s the bread. It’s missing the softness that Subway bread usually has, it’s very solid. The grains are nice but it is so dry.

I don’t know how you could counter it… ask for extra sauce? I already asked for extra tomato but even that hasn’t made much of a dint.

This is a lot more work to eat. More chewing. You could take that as a sign of healthfulness but I miss the rush of getting the tasty sandwich down the hatch before it falls apart.

Maybe this one is just stale.

Stupid airport food.

A small Ultimate Double Whopper was worth about $10 and I believe it can satisfy for most of the day.

I’m still angry that the Angry Angus was not at the airport though.
